Hooray for summer! This time of year is so nice for a student and his family because we have time to spend TOGETHER! Dustin finished his exams about 2 weeks ago. We packed up our stuff and headed south to Waterton. It was so beautiful, it wasn't even windy. We stayed for 4 days- hiked Bertha and Blakiston, went kayaking, swimming, played Bocce (to the death), golfing and bike riding. All very intense sorts of things. (Of course we forgot our camera, but I will post pics as soon as I can scavenge them from others.)
For Mother's day, Dustin gave me a sweet bike with a brown banana seat so we have been utilising that almost every evening. We also wanted to jump on the longboarding bandwagon so we just bought a sweet one. Dustin's just putting the trucks on it today so we can scrape up our knees this afternoon.
We are planning a camping trip to Elk Water in August. I am most looking forward to seeing all -or most- of my brothers and sister in about a week for our reunion. It should be a blast.
Sam and Max are doing awesome! Max is nearly toilet trained so that makes our lives a little easier. Sam is starting to laugh along with his huge smiles. They are the best kids, we couldn't have asked for anything more!
