EVICTED!

The mattress in our main bedroom has housed me all week. It's been a fair rent agreement: I lay on it all day, and all I have to remit as payment is my excruciating pain and endless torment. My bed loves me and the streptococcal bacteria I'm incubating.

This morning I was evicted. My antibiotics are working. I took up my sick bed and walked....to the bathroom. When I came back, I found the new tenants. I couldn't be happier.

Tonight

During scriptures tonight, we were reading about Peter testifying of Christ in the new testament. (We read out of the children's reader, which shows pictures of the people wearing ancient style clothes.) Dustin explained that Peter was an apostle. Max asked what it meant to be an apostle, so Dustin replied that it was sort of like being a prophet. To this, Max replied "so why don't the guys in this story have suits?"

I looked at Sam tonight during bed time routine. He's growing up. I never thought I'd say this- especially about Sam- but I want my kids to stay little forever. They are so sweet because mom can still make everything better. Their little toes and fingers are always so busy. Imaginations are so raw and creative.

Dustin bought the boys some YOP (drinkable yogurt), it comes with a cap. Max asked if he could keep the containers for a craft. It was like Christmas for him when I said yes. Dustin pointed out, "At least he's thrifty."

We've been thinking A LOT where Dustin will practice when he's done in a month- huzzah! I'm getting a little worried because while he's had a few interviews up here, none are really enticing because of the frigidity of this frozen wasteland. How do you choose?

Enough rambling. Next post shall have some pictures of beautiful Victoria, and Spencer and Nicole's monumental day.

Over and out.

This is not the face of fear....

Can you believe this is our little Elle? She's growing up so fast! This is the second time she crawled in as many minutes, and it was the 22nd of February. It was funny to watch her try and learn to crawl because she would get up on her hands and knees, and then stand and bear walk for a few strides. That quickly ceased and she figured it out. She was so determined to get where she wanted to go, she never cried when she would face plant. (She's seven months in this video)
